SHIPPING TELEGRAMS.
Auckland, Jannary 19. The steamer Wakatipu arrived last evening at 9.50, and sailed for Sydney shortly after 12, taking the mails and passengers from the City of Sydney. The steamer Wellington from the South crossed the Manukan bar at five this morning. Arrived—Torea, from Lyttelton, eleven days ont. Port "Chalmers. January 18. Sailed—Mataura for London with eijjht passengers. B_rFF, January 18. Arrived—Shaw, Saville's ship Western Monarch from London with 369 immigrants and nine saloon p-ssengerslfor the Bluff, and a cargo .for Dunedin. All well. Three deaths and three births occurred on the voyage. She lands her passengers to-morrow and then sa_l_f or Dunedin. . Jannary 1». The Albion arrived at 5 p.m. She left Melbourne at 3.15 p.m. on tbe 14th; experienced fine weatherto Solanders; theoce strong breez- to arrival. She sails at 4 p.m. to-morrow for Dunedin. She brings 52 saloon and 30 steerage passengers for all porta. Saloon—Messrs Nelson, Wilson, Daish, Ballantyne, Turner, Mrs Ballantyneand thirteen in the steerage. Sailed—Arawata, for Melbourne; N.Z. Shipping Company's ship Waitara, McKelvey, for London, with 4119 bales, 13 _asks shells, and five passengers. The cargo is valued at £88,100.
