After sunset Venus appears in the West in all her brilliancy, Jupiter has passed the meridian, and both Mars and Saturn will be abont rising in the East. The Sun will be eclipsed on the 7th. but invisible in New Zealand. It may be seen in the districts of Sonth America, but is of small magnitude.
