I endeavored to obtain an entrance to the shop ; on going to the back I found the window open ; that the whole of the stock had been removed, and nothing left of any real value. What was left I have in my possession. There were four small pieces of cloth which had been left in the window as a " blind ;" they are of «o intrinsic value. There was a quantity of small cuttings of cloth of no value, and a green window blind, a red blanket, two sleeve boar is, and two or three old clothes brushes. Hie Honor—Nβgoose! No, your Honor, the goose had gone. [Laughter.! There were fome patterns and three or "four black neckties; a negro minstrel costume, only made of calico.
