HEATHCOTE REGATTA.
A meeting of the Heathcote regatta committee was held last evening, at eight o'clock, at Warner's Commercial Hotel. Present—Mi J. X. Pieher, M.H.B, (in the "eeair), Messrs Jones, Monck, Thomson, Wadman (hon sec), Day. : It was slated that the subscriptions, entries, I fend cash in hand amounted to £118. aud that Mr A. O. Watson, of Snmner.na , } presented two challenge cups, to be won twice, and to 1 Dβ competed for in the double sculling race. Mr Klingenetein's tender for the sole right 4 of the paddock on the day of the regatta was 4 accepted. g The fallowing entries were received for I the regatta, to be held on Wednesday nest.
