Whereas certain sheep infected with scab were yarded in the Canterbury Sale Yards on the 24th day of February last, and. certain other mobs of sheep have since, ard before the said yards were dressed a Scab Destroying preparation, been yarded in the said yards, in consequence wherc-of not only all such sheep, bnt ajnoall other.- sheep, with which they have since been intermixed have become infected with scab, within the meaning of the abovenamed Ordinance. The Chief Inspector of Sheep, therefore, , requires all persons who have, or suspect that they have, in their possession any such sheep so infected as aforesaid, to give notice thereof forthwith to the adjoining sheep owners, and also to the Inspector of Sheep acting for the district in which such sheep are, pursuant to the provisions of the 22ad section of the Canterbury Sheep Ordinance, 1872; and in default thereof such person?
