THE ANGLO-AUSTRALIAN AGENCY.
TO THE EDITOB OF THE PRESS. SlB, —I observed in your columns some time ago a letter from Captain Holt, stating that the Press Telegraph Agency was not the property of Messrs Brogden and Sons. I must say that the statement astonished mc. I at once wrote to Captain Holt, pointing out that the statement was at variance with facf, but he has not answered. 1 can only say that I sold an interest in the Agency to Messrs John. Brogden and Sons through Captain Holt, that the money with which I successfully coped with and ultimately extinguished the Press Association, was paid to mc personally, from time to time, by Messrs Brogden's accountant. Of course Captain Holt may have since acquired the Agency, but of this I know nothing. /• <■ I can only say that if the interest in the Agency was not purchased "from mc by Messrs Brogden and Sons, it was never sold at all. Yours, &c, Chas. O. Monikose.
