SIR, —The boating season being just about to commence, I think it would save a good many accidents and miships if every boating man was well acquainted with the rule of the river when meeting or passing boats I have asked a good many, but none of them seem to feel sure about it, and a good many differ. Perhaps you would be good enough to inform mc Yours, &c, New Member C.R.C. Christchurch. October 2nd.
