April 7th, 1874. 4-8 2851 pUB LI C NOTICE I Hereby Give Notice pursuant to the provisions of The Canterbury Waste Lands Act, 1866, that an application has been lodged in the - _and Office, Christchurch, by The 'Trust and Agency Company of Australasia, ) Limited, as present holders of Pasturage , Licenses Nos. 201, 264, 466, and 502, Class 3 and 280, Class 2, to have the said Licenses cancelled, and in lieu thereof to have two fresh Licenses issued to the said Trust and Agency Company of Australasia, Limited, one of which shall comprise the whole of the lands now held under Pasturage Licenses Nos. 201 and 264, Class 3 and 280, Class 2, and the other of which shall comprise the whole of the lands now held under Licenses Nos. 466 and 502, Class 3. If any person can show cause why the said application should not be granted the same must be made known to the Waste Lands Board, at the Land Office, Christchurch, before the 9th day of April, 1874. CONDITIONS: These races will be run under the C.J.C. rules. No person will be qualified to run a horse unless he be a subscriber of not less than 1 guinea to the fund. Hack Race and Fanners' Plate excepted. Three horses, the property of different owners, to start in each race, or the added money will not be given. All sweepstakes to be paid before starting.
