THE UNDERSIGNED have received instructions to SELL the above VALCABLE PBOPEBTIES To be submitted to PUBLIC AUCTION, On or about THE 18th FEBBUABY, Unless previously sold by private contract ALFOBD, Consists of— 18,788 acres leasehold, under the Canterbury Waste Lands Begulations 582 acres freehold Included in the leasehold are 3750 acres, under pre-emptive right, of which 600 acres acres are under English grass. The run is divided into seven large and twelve small paddocks. The homestead has every convenience, good garden and orchard, stable for eleven horses, store, &c. Wool-shed for sixteen shearers and storage for 200 bales wool, blacksmith and carpenter's shops, large barn, men's huts, &c. Hot water wash, complete in every respect. Two sets of sheep yards. The fencing, in all about fifty-one miJee, is in perfect order. The sheep, taken as a flock, are equal to any in Canterbury, consisting principally of pure Lincoln and Leicester and half-bred, together with, about 3200 well-bred Merino ewes and wethers, in all about 9000 sheep and 1500 lambs. CLENT HILLS. Consists of— 51,180 acres leasehold, under Canterbury Waste Lands Regulations 20 acres freehold (coal) 1500 acres included in the leasehold, are held under preemptive right. This run is divided into six large and six small paddocks; about twenty-five miles fencing. The bomestead has every necessary for the working of the run, including a new nineroomed house. Woolshed for sixteen shearers, and separate store for 250 bales wool. Stable for four horses, three men's huts, &c. First-class spout wash, perfect in all respects. 18,000 Sheep and 3000 Lambs, consisting of— Lincoln and Leicester, half-bred, and pure Merino. These fine properties have been worked very satisfactorily together, but the runs could be carried on separately, every appliance being provided for that purpose. No expense has been spared to improve the flocks, by the importation of the very best sheep, both long wool and merino.
