The barque Cyrene, Captain Flett, arrived in harbor on Friday night, from Newcastle, after a passage of eighteen days. She brings a cargo of coals. The s.s. Wellington, Captain Kennedy, arrived in harbor yesterday at 10 a.m., from Dunedin. The left Port Chalmers at 4 p.m. on Saturday. She sailed for Wellington and Northern ports, carrying both the Suez and San Francisco mails yesterday afternoon, at 3.40. The s.s. Taranaki, Captain Wheeler, arrived yesterday at noon, from Wellington and Northern ports. She sailed for Dunedin yesterday, afternoon at six o'clock. The 8.8. Beautiful Star arrived yesterday afternoon at 3.20 p.m. from Dunedin and intermediate ports. She left Dunedin on Fiiday at 6.45 p.m., and arrived at Timaru on Saturday morning six o'clock ; left again as 6.45 p.m., and arrived at Akaroa 5.30 a.m. yesterday ; left again at 9.30 a.m., arriving as above. She sails for South this day. The s.s. Wanganui, Captain Linklater, arrived in harbor yesterday morning at 11.30 from Wellington. She left that port at noon on Saturday. She sails for the South this day. The brig Drover cleared the Customs on Saturday for Auckland with a full cargo. The brig Edith Haviland has completed the discharge of her inward cargo, and has hauled off from the wharf. The ship Dover Castle will commejice the discharging of her inward cargo to-day. The Taranaki. which arrived yesterday, brought down the race horse Slander.
