IMPORTED STOCK.

The remarkably handsome and pure-bred cow Marchioness, imported from Scotland, in the Dover Castle by MrWm. Boag, arrived in Christchurch from Lyttelton on Saturday, and was driven to Mr Boag's residence. She belonged to Mr John Whyte, of Muirhead, md was bred by Mr T. J. Graham Sterling, of Strowan. She was calved on the 3rd of Jwmary, I£>7o. We cannot allude to the psblic spirit and enterprise evinced by Mr &sag in this and many other instances in too strong terms of commendation, and we trust - that the present purchase may realise all that he expected. This fine cow was got by Torlum.*
