The Temuka correspondent of the Thnaru Gazette writes:—The weather cannot be said to be particularly unfavorable to the farmers, still it is not quite desirable for the threshing that is going, on in the district; but as proper precaution has been taken to properly secure the stacks by thatching, nothing very detrimental cau occur. Several transactions in grain have taken place chiefly by sample, Mr Mendelson alone having purchased about 50,000 bushels.
