All orders to withdraw advertisements must be in writing, and sent in before six o'clock p.m. Advertisements received after 10 o'clock in the evening will be inserted before the leading article and charged for at double rates. In order to guard against imposition, notices of Births, Marriages, and Deaths, must be authenticated by some respectable person to insure their insertion.
