Thursday, Pecejibeb 7. r ßefore G. L.-Hellish, Esq.. R.M., and Mr Dixon, J.P.") Breach of Public House Obdinanck 1866 —John Sinclair, Junction Hotel, was charged with keeping his house open during prohibited hours, on 2-tth November. Defendant admitted the charge. In answer to a question from the Bench, Sergeant Davies stated that the house was usually closed at the proper hour, and is well conducted. His Vorship dismissed the case, but cautioned the defendant to close at the proper hours for the future. Civil Cases—Samuel Wilson v. F. Deuch, claim £2 18s 10£ d. Judgment for plaintiff for £2 lis 3d and costs. Eyretou Road Board v. James Whitmore, for £1 15s 5d for rates. Judgment for plaintiff for full amount. Same v. Belcher aud R. Ruddick, £9 4s 10£ d, also for rates. Judgment for plaintiff and costs. Several cases were settled out of Court.
