CRICKET.

Yesterday afternoon a cricket match was played between the College Eleven and an eleven selected from the officers of H.M.S. Basilisk. The " sailors " seem to have been very unfortunate in their matches. On Thursday they were defeated by the Ellesmere Club ; and yesterday the College Eleven beat them with several runs to spare. The game passed off very successfully, the bowling of Rutherford on the College side being especially worthy of notice. The following are the scores :— COLLEGE ELEVEN. E. Rutherfordi b Waterg 8 C. H.
