With regard to my trade I beg to offer a few I advantages.—l import my own mouldings, • pictures, &c.; I make my own frames; I cut all my own glass; an advantage over any one that has to buy mouldings in small i quantities out here, or to get the frames put i together by some one else, or get the glass cut as it is wanted. ! I expect a large assortment of best mouldi ings manufactured, by next vessel, suitable i fpr all class of pictures, with a nice assortment of Chromos, Engravings, Photos, &c. • I am willing to try to please my customers, and supply them at a price no one in Canterbury can supply them cheaper. THE system determined upon with regard to gas-fitters in the city of Christchurch, is based upon the principle in operation for the past 30 years by the " Gas Light Company of Australia." The number of Licensees will be limited. Each Candidate for a gas-fitters' license is required to deposit his application in writing, addressed to the Secretary at the Company's Office, on or before the 23rd instant.
