The Phoebe sailed for the South on Friday at 11.25 a.m. Captain Sexton, of the Hobson's Bay barque Thomas Stowe, which lately arrived from Bordeaux and Charente, reports that in lat. 27deg. 30min. S., and long 30deg. 20miu. W., he spoke the ship Marpesia, forty-three days out, from Melbourne to London. He also reports that in lat. 3odeg. oOmin. S., and long. 29deg. lOmin. W., he fell iv with the hull of the iron ship Malabar, from Greenock, which vessel seemed to have been destroyed by fire. The hull was complete, and was about 28ft. out of water.
