THE LYTTELTON TIMES.
TO THK EDITOR OF THE PIIESS. Sir, —As the editor of the Lyttclton Times is away, 1 postpone for this week a repetition of my question relative to a sentence that occurred in a recent article of that paper, viz.—" Because when the lessee of the Ferry showed fight and talked about claiming a river right on account of a section fronting the river near the (Kakaia) bridge, Mr Rolleston reserved a bit of shingle in front of the land." I say I shall forbear a repetition of the question because the e:litor of the Lyttelton Times is away, and I do not caro to entrust an answer to the allegation of untmthfulness in the abovementioned statement to be smudged over by the scissors-aud-pastc man. Yours, &c. Once a Week. P.S.—I need not add that lam becoming somewhat impatient to draw out a refutation of the next of the thirteen reasons why his Honor the {superintendent should be mixed up with Mr White in the matter of the Kakaia bridge. ■ ■ .
