Per Kaimua —171 bushels oats, 30 kegs butter, 320 bushels chick wheat, 20 bags onions, 40 cheeße, 24 sides bacon and 1 jams, 5 tons potatoes, 10 bags peas, 20 do beans, 181 dozen eggs, 3 kegs honey, Callender 4 Newnham and Co. Per Charlotte—Boo bushels oa'cg, 1 ton onions, 50 bags chick wheat, 5 batter. 10 tons potatoes, 20 cheese, 1 ton carrots, Callender, Newnham and Co. Per Lady Don—lo4o bushels oats, Callender, Newnham and Co; 243 0 bushels wheat, Birch and Co.
The schooner Esther Bailed for Castle Point yesterday morning. The ketch Emerald, Captain Whitby, was taken on to Messrs Grubb and Allen's slip yesterday, to receive •<& thorough overhaul. The s.B. Beautiful Star, arrived in harbour on Monday night, from Wanganui. Experienced fine weather. She sails for Dunedin this day. Tho Circular Saw Company's s.s. Lord Ashley, arrived in harbour yesterday, at 11.45 am., from Dunedin. She left Port Chalmers at 440 pm, on Monday. Passed Akaroa Heads Bam yesterday. Experienced light westerly winds and fine weather during the passage. We are indebted to Mr Pringle, purser, for files. She sails for Northern ports this day.
M'Meckan, Blackwood, and Co.'s s.s. Omeo, having on board the Suez mails, arrived at Lyttelton yesterday, at 1045 am. Of the Omeo's passage Captain Calder reports that she left Hobson's Bay at 3 pm. on the 14th inst. Passed through the Heads at 6 pm. Had light westerly winds to Swan Island, which was passed at 230 pm. on the 15th. From thence strong E.SE. gales were experienced to making Preservation Inlet at 6 am on the2lst; thick weather was then met with to arrival in Bluff Harbour at 330 pm same day ; discharged cargo and left at 7 p m and experienced southerly winds and thick weather to off Saddle Hill,- when it cleared away, and the wind came out from N.W, continuing so until arrival. Left Port Chalmere at 415 pm on tbe 23rd inst; cleared the Heads at 4 50, and arrived in Lyttelton harbour at 1030 am on the24th. Experienced light westerly winds on the passage. Passed a large full-rigged ship beating in for Port Chalmers heads. We are indebted to the courtesy of purser Mailler, for Melbourne and Southland files. She sails for Wellington this day.
