Particulars will shortly bo prepared as to the cost of the purohase of land on alternative lines. THEBEBY clause VI of "The Canterbury Wsata Lands Act, 1866," that an application tef been lodged in the Land Office, by Messrs Foster and Moore, as holders of Pasturage Licenses, Nos. 241, Clasa 8, ana 163, Class 2, to have the said licenses cancelled, and a new license issued to them by the Waste Lands Board, whioh shall comprise all the lands hitherto held under tt£ aforesaid two licenses, in accordance wito Clause IV. of the Act above referred to.
