Dtjkevin, March 28, 7.40 p.m. Mr John Creagh, solicitor, has been charged with embezzlement. He is remanded till to-morrow. The colonial firing takes place at Mr Lindsay's farm, North-east valley, one and a half miles from town. The volunteers are making arrangements for the reception of the representatives from the other provinces. Wellington, March 28,7.20 p.m. Mr Fox returned in the Phoebe last night. It is reported that he will leave for the South shortly.
