Mails for Otago and Southland will close at 1115 am on Saturday, the 26th inst. For United Kingdom, Continent of Europe, America, and the West Indies, on Monday, 28th instant, at 115 pm. For money orders, at 10 80 am. • registration of letters, at IT am. -. Per newspapers, at 12 noon. Late letters for the above places may he posted till 2 p m. Such late letters must bear the usual late fee in postage stamps. An officer of the New Zealand Postal Department" will proceed to T*ew York in charge of the mails. Mails close for the Northern Provinces of New Zealand at 1 45 pm on Saturday, the 26th instant. Moneys orders may be obtained, letters registered, and newspapers posted till 12 30 pm. ~ 1-. ; ! F. E.
