THE PUBLIC ARE HEREBY INFORMED that the following changes in the Telegraphing and Posting of Shipping Telegrams will come into force on and after the Ist April, 1870:— The arrivals and departures of sailing " vessels will not be reported. Inter-provincial steamers will only be reported to the port for; whicji they are immediately bound, and (on arrival) to the port from which they have imdiately come. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on and after the Ist April, 1870, the following uniform rate of charges for Telegrams 5 transmitted on the lines of the New Zealand . Telegraph will come into operation:— Ordinary telegrams from any station to any station, for the first 10 (ten) words, Is (one shilling) ; for every additional 5 (five) words, or fraction of 5 (five) words, 6d (sixpence). : Press telegrams from any station to any station, for the first 10 (ten) words, 6d (sixpence) 1 for every additional 15 (fifteen) or fraction of 15 (fifteen) words, 6d (sixpence). ;?
