The N Z S N Company's s s Bangatira, Captain Renner, arrived in harbor at 5 p m yesterday from Napier and Wellington, having Jeft the latter port at 5 p m on Wednesday, and experienced strong head winds and fine weather during the pat sage.

The barque Philip Nelson cleared at the Customs yesterday morning for London. She tripped her anchor at 3 p in, and sailed down the harbor with a light south wind, but brought up again at the heads, the wind having died away.

The Celceno has nearly completed her loading, and wiil leave next week for London

The brigantine Defiance was cleared at the Customs yesterday, and was to sail yesterday evening for Adelaide with a full cargo of New Zealand produce.

The brigantine Flirt, Captain MoKenzie, arrived in harbor yesterday afternoon from Auckland to load grain.

The a s Maori, Captain James Malcolm, arrived in harbor at 280 p m yesterday. She left Port Chalmers at 12 midnight on the 15th, arrived in Timaru at 9 35 a m next morning, discharged cargo and took on board wool, and sailed again at 10 30 p m same day; arrived at Akaroa at 730 am on the 17th, and sailed again at 9 55 a ra, arriving in Lyttelton as above, having experienced fine weather throughout the passage. We have to thank Captain Malcolm for files. The Maori sails at 3 o'clock this afternoon for Dunedin via intermediate ports.
