Sib, —As the letter 6igned " James Booth " h.s a tendency to mislead the publio, by causing them to suppose that Luugdown and Co. enjoy special privileges, which he (J. B.) does not or cannot enjoy, I would simply state that there is no foundation for such a statement or inference, as every one in the trade enjoys, or may enjoy, the same privilege, until the time comes far leasing the land for firewood sites, on similar terms as those for the coals.
