There are rumoura about regarding persons in high placee having prevented by several devices this visit, and not only that, but who hm thus deprived a great number of people from thus seeing the Prince. I can ecarcely credit some of these reports, and as it is with a view. of satisfying not myeelf alone, but the pubhe mind, we should be deeply indebted to you for any information you possess on tiW matter.
