The Phoebe, ss, Wheeler, 416 tons, for Dunedin, sailed late last evening.

The schooner Isabella sailed on Saturday forenoon for Kaiapoi and Wellington.

The schooner Canterbury, Captain Bowton, sailed on Saturday forenoon for Nelson with a cargo of KZ produce.

MM S Blanche, Captain Montgomery, left for Dunedin at 12 15 p m, having on board His Boyal Highness the Duke of Edinburgh and suite.

There was a considerable sea rolling into the harbour yesterday, and several small vessels that had sailed on Saturday were compelled to return to port, the Canterbury, Spray, and Isabella, being amongst the number.

The schooner Jane Anderson, Captain Falconer, arrived in harbour yesterday morning from Dunedin en route for Napier. She left Dunedin on the 17th, called at Oamaru, took in a quantity of barley and sailed again for Napier; experienced easterly weather till Saturday when, off Kaikouras, experienced a very heavy sea. She having a very heavy deck cargo,, and being short of water, was obliged to put into Lyttelton. She will probably sail to-day, weather permitting.

The cc Phoebe, Captain E Wheeler, arrived in harbour at 1045 am on Saturday. She left Onehunga at 2 p m on the 18th with light head wind, made Taranaki at 6 30 next morning, left again at 930 with a fair wind for Nelson, arrived there at 1130 same evening, left again at 2 45 next morning, arrived at Pioton at 1115 am, left again at noon, arrived at Wellington at 6 pm, left Wellington at 5 p m on Friday 24, and arrived in Lyttelton as above ; experienced fine weather during the passage. We have to thank Mr Hamlyn, purser, for files. She sailed again on Saturday night.

Theeeßangitoto, Captain Mackie, arrived in harbour early yesterday morning from Melbourne via the Northern ports.
