LOCAL MANUFACTURES. | HE PROVINCIAL COUNCIL having I authorised a sum of £3000 to be expended in PREMIUMS for the encouragement of the Manufacture of Woollen Cloths and Beet Root Bugar, and of local industries, the Provincial Government is desirous of receiving applications from any person or persons who may be prepared to establish 'Manufactures of the kind proposed. The Government will be ready to enter into an engagement with person, who will afford a satisfactory guarantee of their ability to carry out any such undertaking to leave the bonus open to be claimed by them within a specified time.
