Pobt Chalmkes — March 20, 6 p in, Comerasg for Ly ttelton. The a s Wainui, Captain Leye, arrived in harbour at 7 o'clock, on Saturday eveoing. The following ie the report:—Left Port Chalmers at 9 a m on Wednesday, arrived at Oamaru next rooming; left again at 10 a na, arrived at Tiniaru at 9 p m ; discharged cargo and left on Friday at 6 p m, arrived at Akaroa at 8a m on Saturday ; left at 10 am same day and arrived in Lyttelton as above. Experieuced fine weather during the passage. The a c Wellington, Captain Holmes, arrived in harbour at 10 am on Saturday. She left Auckland at 6 p m on the 15th, rounded East Gape at 8 p m on the 16th, arrived at Napier at 2 p m on the 17th ; sailed again at 6 pm, rounded Cape Pallisier at 11 am on the 18th, reached Wellington as 4pm same day; left again at Ipm on the 20th, and arrived at Lytteltou as above. Experienced strong east winds with heavy sea from Auckland to Napier } from Napier to Cape Palliser light and variable winds; thence to Wellington strong N W gales; and from Wellington to Lyttelton light variable winds. She sailed at 8p m for Dunedin. We have to thank Mr O Mosß, purser, for full fiiee. The schooner Cleopatra, Captain Ifwerson, sailed for Auckland on Saturday afternoon, with a full cargo of grain. The brig Ben Nevis hauled off from the wbarf into the stream on Saturday forenoon. On Thursday last the Rose of Eden got safely past the Kaiapoi bridge, and will be ready for sea in a few weeks.
