The Black. Hawk, Bcbooner, Captain A. Swanson, arrived in harbor early en Sunday morning from Titnaru. Left on Thursday night; experienced fine weather during the j passage, and arrived in Lyttelton as above. i The Alfred, the firet of the Polynesian line of packets, under the auspices of the Polynesian Company, for the colonisation of Fiji, bailed from Hobaon's Bay on the 14th ult., direct for Ovalau, with the company's staff and a number of shareholders. The s s Otago will be the second of the line of packets. She was to have been despatched for Ovalau, Fiji, and Yokohama, Japan. The passage to the firet place is £20, to the last place £50. The ,Otago. has been in Messrs Hughes, and Sinnott and Co. , * graving dock, Yarra bank, Melbourne, having a thorough overhaul and refit to tier boilers, maohinery, &o. She was floated out on the Ist instant. While in dock her hull was cleaned and painted, and the bottom coated with Boithwiok'e patent antifouling composition.
