Amongst prices we noted:—Black lead, at 375; loaf sugar, all faults, at sfd j orange bitters, 7s 6d i. b. ; Renault's brandy, at 23s ; soda crystals, £1110s ; chocolate (no brand), 9d ; and champagnes (no brand), 40a. The bulk beers, offered failed to attract any attention. In private transactions, there have transpired one or two parcels of bacon and hams at, for Sinclair's and Coey's, Is to Is o£d, a small line of an outside brand moving at a lower rate. Barclay's stout (a guaranteed parcel), at 8s j Jeffrey's ale, at 7s 6d to 7s 9d j and Hennessy's brandy, at Bs. Sugars are in brisk inquiry, but sales are entirely among second houses. Teas are not ! neglected ; altogether. Some better- sized trade parcels moved off, witnessing fair prices. Holders of kerosene are now firm lat 2s 3d, at which figure, however, sales have not yet been reported.
