ARRIVAL OF THE SHIP GLENMARK, FROM LONDON.
The fine clipper ship, Glenmark, Laptam Wrankmore, R.N.R., Commander, arrived at tho Heads on Saturday, at 6 p m, and brought up, uwaiting the visit of the Health Oificer. The s c Gazelle, having got up steam, proceeded -with Dr Donald, the Health Officer, the representative of the agents of the ship, and a large party of friends, to the ship at the Heads, when all being reported well, they proceeded on board. The Gazelle immediately commenced towiug the ship to her anchorage opposite the town, when she was again brought up at 10 30 pm. She brings a large complement of passengers. Tho following ie the captain's report of the voyage:— "Left the East India Docks on the Bth September, Gravesend on the 9th, Plymouth on the 11th, and parted with the pilot; passed Ushanfc on the 13th ; had strong contrary gales from the S W and W. Sighted Maderia on the 27th. The Capo de Verde Islands were passed on the 3rd October ; crossed the equator 13th October; passed the Cape of Good Hope on the 12th November, and was there becalmed for eight daye, in 42 deg. south; from the Cape to the Snares had heavy weather ; sighted the Snares at 5 a m on the 10th December, and Cape Saunders on the morning of the 11th ; came up from thence with a heavy gale, and sighted the Peninsula at 3 a m on Saturday, and hove to." One birth took place on board, and one infant died during the passage. Several ships were signalled during the passage, which has occupied 94 days. Tho passengers all speak very highly of the captain and officers of the ship.
