RESIDENT MAGISTRATE'S COURT.
C-IRiSTCntTRCn —December 12. [Before C. C. Bowen, Esq., R.M.] There were no criminal cases disposed of this day. C. Patterson was charged with not having abated a nuisance after he had been ordered to do so. Tho facts of tho case having been stated, the defendant pleaded that ho had not had time to subpoena witnesses. He had dono all in his power to abate the nuisance. The Inspector of Nuisances said that no alteration had been made in tho state of tho yard. His Worship said that no one could be allowed to keep a fever-trap in the city, and fined the defendant 20s.
