Sib, —Can you inform mc on the following poiuts:—lf I volunteer for the front, what pay will I receive ? If lam disabled, what allowance will be made to mc; or if killed, what provision will be made for my family ? No information on these points has been given by the Government, and unless they offer some real inducement, I don't think they will get many from this province. Yours, _c., ; VO-T/NTEEB. ' [The Volunteer act does not provide for the '• pay of volunteers on actual servioe, but we believe the pay at present offered is 3s 6d a day and rations. We believe that the Government wish the services of single men i only, and consequently there is no occasion to provide for their families.—Ed. Press.] '
