NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that in accordance with the provisions of " The Municipal Corporations Aot, 1867," FOUR COUNCILLORS will have to be ELECTED on the 10th September, being the second Thursday in the month, in the room of Messrs John Louis Balestiee, Adam Chalmers, Thos. Mutton, and George Taylor, who are all eligible for re-election. All candidates must be nominated in accordance with Clause 83, Part IV. of tho Act, and nomination papers and all information can be had of the Town Clerk. The nomination papers must be delivered to the Town Clerk before 4 p.m on Wednesday, the 2nd September, after which no nomination will be valid. A Public Meeting to declare what candidates have been duly nominated, will be held in the Large Hall, Colonists' Society, at twelve o'clock noon, on Thursday, the 3rd September, 1868. T.
