TIHABTJ. The "Herald "of Augoet 22 reports— Messrs Stubbs and Sing report that their Auction sales of produce, <£c., during the week base been well attended, although not many purchasers. Owing to the irregularity of sales of produce we are making arrangements now to hold regular weekly sales. Bacon offered by us realised from 4}d to 6id i bains, 6sd tb 7d 5 potatos, £2 10s to £4 for quality j onions, 3d; cheese and butter, not ofiered; ryegrass seed, sd. Atibtion sale of furniture and sundries realised satisfactory prices. : Live Stock. Fat cattle have been quitted at 35s per hundred for twenty-one, bead prime lot. In* ferior • are worth from 30s to 32a 6d, no sales effected. , .; • ' ' Fat sheep are still selling -at 2id per Ib. Draught Horses—Only one of this description sold during the week for £30 cash.
