Sib, —As I notice that in yonr criticism of my " Geography and History of Now Zealand," you take exception to my statement that the General Assembly consists of "the Governor, a Legislative Council appointed by the Governor, and holding office during life,' and a House of Representatives elected by the people," I shall be obliged if you will publish the following extraot from the New Zealand Constitution Act:— " Art. 32.—There shall be within the colony of New Zealand a G-eneral Assembly, to consist of the Governor, a Legislative Council and House of Representatives."
