December 6. ABBIVBn. Annie, ketch* Clarke, from Lyttelton. IMPOBTS. Per Annie : 8 bales woolpacks, 2 coils wire, 2 kegs, Birch and Co ; 4 do, P L Neilsen ; 1 bale, Revell and Co ; 19 gunnies sugar, H Blackett; 18 do do, G C Black. The s.s. Wainui, Captain Hepburn, will Bail for Dunedin via intermediate ports to-day. The s.b. Gothenburg, Captain Underwood, sailed for Wellington at six p.m. on Saturday, the 7th instant. She took a large quantity of grain from this port. The s.s. Tararua, Captain Hagley, sailed for Wellington at half-past eleven on Friday night, having the English outward mail via Panama on board. The Tararua shipped a large quantity of grain (viz., 838 bags wheat) from this port, which was conveyed from Christchurch by rail after the arrival of the steamer. The s.s. Keera, Captain D. Joyce, put into harbour yesterday (Sunday) morning at ten o'clock for the purpose of obtaining a supply of coal. The Keera was from Greymouth, bound for Dunedin, with a number of passengers and some cargo for that port. On the Xeera's arrival it was first imagined that she was a vessel laden with cattle for this port, 88 she steered her course for Baker's Bay. The Keera left Greymouth on the sth instant at half-past four p.m , and experienced fresh north-west and Bouth-west winds with a heavy Bea during the passage. |Off Cape Campbell a number of small craft, all of •which were bound North, were sighted, also a steamer bound for Wellington. After coaling, the Keera sailed for Dunedin at half-past two p.m. yesterday.
