Arrived—December 5— 4 a.m., Wainui from South Sailed—December 5 — 9.30 a.m., Wainui for North. • Nblson. Arrived — December 5—4 a tn., Airedale from Hokitika; 11 a.m., Taranaki from Taranaki. Sailed —December 5—3.30 p.m., Stair of the South for Napier. ' «*
xne ixew Z/eaiana steam navigation uompany'o steamship Wellington, Captain Holmes, arrived in harbour at quarter to ten am. yesterday. She left Auckland on the 29th ultimo at twenty minutes past three p.m., and arrived at Tauranga at half-peat seven a m. on the 30th ; left same day at twenty-five minutes to ten a.m., and arrived at Napier on the Ist instant, ac twenty minutes past one p.m. ; left again on the 2nd, at twenty minutes past one p.m., and arrived at Wellington on the 3rd at half-past ten a.m.; eaibd for Lyttelton at quarter to four p.m. on the 4th, and arrived as above. Experienced moderate north-west winds during the early part of the passage ; light variable winds with rain during the latter part. The Wellington sails for Dunedin to-day.
