Mails for Otago and Southland will close lat Christchureh at 8 a.m., and Lyttelton at 11.15 a.m., on Friday, the 6th instant. Mails, per Tararua, for the United Kingdom, the Continent of Europe, America (via Panama), and the Northern ports of New Zealand, will close at Chrietchurch at 10 a.m., and Lyttelton at 130 p.m. on Friday, the 6th instant. Monej orders must bo procured at Christchurch before 4 p.m., and Lyttelton before 1 p.m , and registered letters posted before 5 p.m. on Thursday, the sth instant.
