I HEREBY GIVE NOTICE pursuant to Clause VI. of " The Canterbury Waste Lands Act, 1866," that an application was lodged in the Land Office, Christchurch, on the Bth instant, by George Gray Russell, as holder of Pasturage License No. 539, Class 3, to have a separate license issued by the Waste Lands Board to Edward Elworthy of that {tortion of land described in the aforesaid icense, situated to the eastward of the White Rook River, and containing 7500 acres or thereabouts ;"and a separate license issued to the said George Gray Russell of the remaining portion of the said run, situated to the northward and westward of the White Rock Biver. If any person can show cause why such •separate licenses as aforesaid should not be issued, the same must be made known to the Waste Lands Board before the 12th day of December next.
