From the placard outside the Telegraph Station we publish the following arrivals and departures, viz. :— Wbixikotoh. Arrived—November 26 — 10 p.m., Wanganui from Wanganui. Nblsoic. Sailed—November 26—7 p.m., Rangitoto for Hokitika. Pobt Chai/hbbb. Sailed—November 26—2 p.m., Egmont for Lvttelton ; 4 p.m., Wild Wave for Newcastle; 6.30 p.m., Tairoa for Molyneux, Eleanor for Newcastle, Pet for Newcastle ; 7 p.m., Airedale for Bluff. Blt/fp. Arrived—November 27—930 a.m., Airedale from Dunedin.

The Panama, New Zealand, and Australian Royal Mail Company's steamship Kgmoht arrived in harbour at half-past one p.m yesterday from Port Chalmers, which port she left on Tuesday, the 26th instant, at halfpast two p.m. .Experienced light northerly winds and fine weather throughout the passage. The Egmont sailed for "Wellington last evening at half-past five. The ship Glenmark, which dragged considerably during the late heavy gale on Sunday last, has again been brought up to her former moorings. On Tuesday Captain White, of the ship Blue Jacket, entertained a number of his friends at a dejeuner on board his vessel. In consequence of the inclemency of the weather a great many gentlemen from Christchurch and other parts who had received invitations were not able to attend. About forty gentlemen were present, and were most sumptuously entertained. The usual loyal and other toasts were drank, and a most enjoyable evening •pent. Some excellent music, both vocal and instrumental, was given by some of the gentlemen pre*ent On the company leaving the ship a number of rockets and blue lights were discharged.
