I HEREBY GIVE NOTICE pursuant to Clause VI. of " The Canterbury Waste Lands Act, 1866," that an application was lodged in the Land Office, Christchurch, on the Bth instant, by George Gray Russell, as holder of Pasturage License No. 539, Class 8, to have a separate license issued by the Waste Lands Board to Edward Elworthy of that portion of land described in the aforesaid license, situated to the eastward of the White Rock River, and containing 7500 acres or thereabout* ; and a separate license issued to the snid George Gray Ru*sell of the remaining portion of the said run. situated to the northward and westward of the White Rock Biver.
