Miils for Otago and Southland will close ■it ihristchurch at 8. a.m., and Lytt.lron *t 11.15 a.m.. on Thursd.iy, the stl- proximo. MaiN, per Tararua, for the United Kingdom, the Continent of Europe, America (via Panama), and the Northern ports of New Zealand, will close at Christchurch at 10 am, and Lyttelton at 1 p.m., on Friday, the 6th proximo. Money orders must be procured at Christchurch before 3 p.m., and Lyttelton before I p.m. Letters for registry must be posted before 5 p.m. on Thursoay, the sth proximo. Late letters for places within and beyond the colony by payment of an extra sixpenny stamp upon each letter, can be posted at Christchurch till 1 p.m., and at Lyttelton till 2.30 p.m., on Friday, the 6ih proximo.
