Publio Works Office, Christchurch, August 7, 1867. 8-9 PUBLIC NOTICE. j I HEREBY GIVE NOTICE, pursuant to Clause VI. of " The Canterbury Waste Lands Act, 1866," that on the 9th day of August, 1867, an application was lodged in the Land Office, Christchurch, by the Trust and Agency Company of Australia (Limited), as holders under the Provincial Government of Pasturage Licenses Nos. 25, 449, and 567, to have a portion of the land at present included within Pasturage License No. 25, and containing 2200 acres or thereabouts, added to licence No. 567 ; and a portion of the land at present included within license 567, and containing 5600 acres or thereabouts, added to license No. 449; and in pursuance of Clause 111 of the Act above mentioned, to have amended licenses issued by the Waste Lands Board to the said Trust and Agency Company of Australasia (Limited), in accordance with the alterations above referred to. If any person can show ca'«se why such amended licenses as aforesaid should not be issued, the same must be made known to the Waste Lands Board, Christchurch, on or before the 7th day of October next. I HEREBY GIVE NOTICE, pursuant to Clause VI. of the Canterbury Waste Lands Act, 1866, that on the Bth instant an Application was lodged in the Land Christchurch, by the Trustees of the late Joseph Longden and by Robert Deane, to have issued by the Waste Lands Board in substitution of the original Pasturage License, No. 130 Class 111., now held by the said Trustees of Joseph Longden and Robert Peane, a separate License to the said Trustees of the late Joseph Longden of that portion of Run 130 l)ing to the eastward of the middle of the stream of the River Rubicon, and to the northward of the middle of the stream of the River Kowai, and a separate License to the said Kobert Deane, comprising the remainder of the Lands included within License No. 130.
