The chair was taken by the Worshipful Grand Master, Brother T. R. Wallace; the vice-chair by the Senior Master Brother F. Redpath, the Brethren wearing the emblems of the Order. After the Brethren had partaken of the good things provided for them, the Worshipful proposed the Charter toast, which was drunk with all the honours annexed. NOTICEIS HEREBYGIVENthat the COPARTNERSHIP hitherto carried on by Jeremiah Jones, Frederick William Eicke, and William Mardon, as auctioneers, commission agentß, and publicans, at Christchuich, and by Jeremiah Jones, Edward McGlashan, Frederick William Eicke, and William Mardon, as auctioneers and commission agents at Hokitika, in the Province of Canterbury, under the style or firm of " Jones, McGlashan, and Company," has been DISSOLVED by mutual consent as from the twentieth day of June last so far as regards the said Frederick William Eicke.

The business of the said co-partnership will in future be carried on at Ohristchuroh by the said Jeremiah Jones and William Mardon, and at Hokitika by the eaid Edward McGlashan, Jeremiah Jones, and William Mardon, under the eaid style or firm of " Jones, McGlashan, and Company." All moneys owing to, and payable by, the late firm will be received and paid at Christchurch by the said William Mardon, and at Hokitika by the said Jeremiah Jones.
