A MATCH, open to all comers, will be held in the neighborhood of Christ church, in August next, when the Society's first-class medal will be awarded to thn best ploughman. A medal will also be giren to the best ploughman in a match open to all comers except those who hare won a first-class prize Iα any match in the province. The extensive alterations just completed give facilities for all orders to be executed with dispatch, even more bo then heretofore. I would also respectfully call attention to the %ct that no business can efficiently be carried on, however promptly performed, without a corresponding promptitude in the settlement of account current, whether large or small. I must, therefore, request an early attention in this respect. With many it will be the last time of asking, and if not settled forthwith, invitations will be issued of a nature which, however unpalatable, will I trust be beneficial in their results. Reserving to myself the right of discriminating between those who can and do not, and those who would but can't, I shall inaugurate my final appeal fourteen days from this date, feeling assured that, however good-looking a JuKffmty be, he will look, far better at any vßher man's door than my own. The business will be carried on as hitherto —in the Colonial style ; and, although compelled to adopt stringent measures with some, nothing shall be wanting on my part to en- : rare a continuance of kind favours from those deserving my grateful attentions. The stock (unsurpassable) must be seen to be appreciated, and challenges the whole of the New Zealand Colonies in competition.
