ASHBURTON ROAD BOARD. mENDERS are required for the Erection of a X Public Pound in the town of Ashburton, consisting of a yard, 9 panels by 5 panels, (of 4 rails and a cup) with a division. Posts to be round block pine, rot less than 12 inches through, charred at the ground line, 9 feet € inches in length, and to be sunk 3 feet 6 inches in the ground. Rails to be black birch, 9 feet 6 inches long, 6 inches at the back, by 9 inches in depth. Proper slip rails to be made where required. Tenders to include cartage, erection, and all expenses. The Board do not bind themselves to accept the lowest or any tender.
