Wellington, Captain Fran- :*, left tK» Bluff on the 2nd instant, at four p.m., ltd«m>4atOtago, at 9.30 a-m. on the 3rd; left Pago Heads on the sth, at twe p.m., and arrived at tile 6th at noon. |The fine steamship Albion, Captain M'Lachlan, (arrived in port yesterday afternoon at 3.20, having left Port Chalmers the previous evening at seven o'clock, and passed the City of Dunedin at 11 p.m. She left Port Philip Heads at 7.30 p.m. on the 27th December. On starting she met with strong E.S.E. winds with a heavy sea and on the 28 th anchored inside the lee of Clarke's Island, to avoid a heavy gale, with high sea, from S.E. remaining there 15 hours. During the remainder of the passage had light SE winds. Passed Solander Island at midnight, January Ist. Arrived at Bluff at sam on 2nd ; left at 5.45 am, and arrived at Port Chalmers Heads at 5.10 pm same day. The Aloion has a large number of saloon passengers, and a full cargo for this port. ~Ve have to acknowledge the courteous attention of. Mr James Sainsbory, purser of this vessel, in regularly furnishing us with complete copies of the ship , * manifests, passenger list, and other parti* culae.
