We hare to report the following sales by auction :— Messrs. There was a large attendance of buyers, and the prices realised were considered satisfactory. Messrs. Owen. Brothers sold by public auction, on the 18th, the first lot of wartird wool that has been offered this season. The price obtained was about equal to last year's rates. Oats were withdrawn, there being no buyers. Metters. Owen, Brothers sale of general merchandise took place ye»terdav according to advertisement. We noticed a good attendance on this occasion, and are informed that the prices realised for the various lots put up were, generally speakiner. satisfactory.
